Color Affection

Color Affection is a fun knit project.  Garter stitch and short rows.  It’s easy enough to bring along on road trips and to your Thursday night knitting group, but is keeps you interested til the end.  The pattern written by Veera Valimaki is a popular download on Ravelry.  I have been meaning to make some of the top picks on Ravelry for awhile, and this was my first one.  I used Manos Del Uruguay Serena colorway S9710 Alpine for the main color and Cascade Yarns Heritage Silk colorways 5604 Denim and 5632 Dark Plum for the contrasting colors. I really, really enjoy working with these two yarns — so many beautiful colorways, great stitch definition and durability.  Hope you like it! meow
