No.29 Cattus Island County Park
Jaime and I spent the afternoon at Cattus Island located in Ocean County. The forecast for the day was overcast and chilly, but we didn’t let that stop us! Sunny and 70 isn’t necessary to have a great time hiking. There were tons of birds singing and ospreys feeding their babies. Jaime climbed a tree and we walked on a trail that was closed…we are rebels! It was a nice walk. I love the diversity of New Jersey’s different landscapes. Two weeks ago I was in the mountains of Passaic county traversing steep rocky paths and rock scrambling through forests. Cattus Island is a coastal marshland with pitch pines and sandy soil. Definitely visit Cattus Island County Park if you haven’t yet, it’s well worth it!
@ The Shop
The new logo is done!! I love it and am so thankful for the hard work and great design by Leanne Coppola at Three Boys Design. She spent a lot of time going back and forth with me and designed the perfect logo! I spent Saturday afternoon merchandising the front room to show off the addition of Laplaca Pottery to the shop. I am really excited to be showing his work. Stop in when you are around, I also got the coffee pot back up and running. And I am hoping to start displaying yarn next week, stay tuned 🙂
